Chubby Chedda
Designed by Luke Short, the "Chubby Chedda" is a revamped version of the original "Chubby Checker," a favourite board of many riders, including Julian Wilson, when he's free-surfing. Luke widened the outline and added a slight bump in front of the fins, providing better acceleration out of turns. The concave is more pronounced, making it easier to take off, and the tail rocker is lifted more for a perfect balance of speed and manoeuvrability. The "Chubby Chedda" can be described as a performance hybrid board designed for small waves and can be ridden two inches shorter than your favourite shortboard, yet it remains very reliable in consistent surf.
